Mine is extremely territorial and seemed to battle all tank mates including another similar sized odoe,arowana and gar. It is widespread throughout much of Africa and has been recorded in Guinea, Guineabissau, Senegal, Togo, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Ivory coast, Niger, Cameroon. The odoe pike is a smaller Nigerian river predator and a good fit for a larger species aggressive fish tank.
